"HI, I'm Janet Macy!" Director and instructor of the California Professional Hypnosis Institute

Janet Macy, Registered and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, developed an interest in hypnosis that began in her early teens. An avid reader, Janet's thirst for knowledge created a welcome environment for her to begin what would become a total learning adventure.

Educated in the Midwest, Janet has always approached life from the framework based upon the golden rule. Her warmth and quick wit rapidly draws you into her inner circle.

Since 1996, Janet has wanted to teach others the wonderful benefits of hypnosis and followed that dream by becoming a "student" teacher under the guidance of Dr. Jeanne Neher-Schurz. For five years, Janet apprenticed with Dr. Jeanne teaching as well as setting up her own private practice and ultimately starting the California Professional Hypnosis Institute.

Last night, Janet Macy succumbed to her battle with cancer and passed away. She was a talented hypnotist, a patient teacher, and a caring friend
